Our history

ANF Professional Services Incorporated and ANF 2 Consulting (Pty) Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ANF) are a product of a merger of three entities – ANF Corporate Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd, PDB Chartered Accountants (SA), Bafithlile Consulting (Pty) Ltd and Reliable Advisory Services. The intention of establishing ANF was to create a firm with national presence as well as leveraging on the synergies to increase capacity and provide improved services to the clients. The founders’ original intention of forming a co-operative network of practitioners to be known as the Audit Network Firm was superceded by the formation of a single practice known as ANF. The main objectives behind the formation of ANF are to:

• Address and reverse the fragmentation in the assurance and advisory industry that is a symptom of the numerous and geographically diverse independent practices in the country;
• Shed the ‘consortia image’ that seems to characterize the co-operative efforts of independent firms in the industry;
• Leverage on the merger synergies and economies of scale to optimize the application of resources and to provide a higher quality of technical and service standards to our clients;
• Contribute to the development of the profession by creating training opportunities for previously disadvantaged individuals.

ANF Professional Services Incorporated provides audit and assurance services to clients in the private and public sectors, anchored within South Africa but also servicing the rest of Africa. ANF 2 Consulting (Pty) Ltd provides a range of non-audit services including corporate advisory, business consulting, risk management, forensic audit, training and tax advisory services. Prior to us trading under the two entities mentioned above we were trading under the banner of ANF Chartered Accountants (SA) Incorporated until recently. Our clients’ references will as such recognize our experience under the banner of ANF Chartered Accountants (SA) Incorporated.
